We would be happy to have you be a part of our family, whether you are near or far!
For the 2023 season, we will have one service at 9:00am on Sundays. We do have outdoor seating available again - just bring your beach chair!
Traditionally, we have had two services every Sunday, at 9am (Rite II with no music) and 11am (Rite I with music). Hopefully we can get back to that soon!
Before COVID, we had a choir! Our choir is all volunteers - many of whom we have never met before! While we will not have the 11am service this year when the choir traditionally sang, we are hoping to have some music integrated into the 9am service for everyone who has missed it. We are always looking for more voices - join us!
Our traditional women's group has expanded to include anyone who wants to join.
The annual bazaar is traditionally held on the first Saturday of August, from 9-1. As it stands, we do not have enough volunteer interest to hold the bazaar in 2023. It takes a massive amount of planning and pricing that must be done long before the actual event! We do hope to be able to return to that in the future.
There is always work to be done setting up for services. The alter guild meets on Saturday mornings to get the altar set for the next day's service, and then sets up and cleans up before and after the services on Sunday morning.
We are always happy to have volunteers to read the scripture, lead the psalm, and read the prayers of the people!
Ushers welcome people into the church before each service, help guide congregants at communion, help take up the collection, and keep a count of how many people are in attendance.
Maybe you want to help, but you are far away! You can send a check to PO Box 261, Cape May Point, NJ.
